RTMP Streaming with Dash Media Player

RTMP Streaming allows your users to click anywhere in the timeline and the video will start to buffer from that location. This allows you to present very long videos to your users where they do not have to buffer the entire movie to skip ahead to certain locations within the video clip.

So, not only does the Dash Player let you create your very own skins using external SWF files, but it also introduces a feature that no other player offers... the ability to provide multiple themes for any given skin. Basically what a theme does is allow you to change the color of any object within your skin. And just to make things better, the colors in these themes can be provided dynamically (i.e. through the use of FlashVars). This allows you to create a truely dynamic player that allows your users to customize how THEY would like your skin to look.

The Dash Media Player introduces a brand new feature called Remote Playlists. This feature allows you to separate the playlist from the player on the page and it still behaves as one single player! Media Free Tagging Support

Here is a demo for free tagging with the Dash Media Player. You can see that after you tag a video, the tag will show up in the tags list. You can then click on any of the tags in the list and it will filter the playlist based on the tag you selected.
